La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's tennis team improved to 3-1 overall and 2-1 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) with a 9-0 win over UW-River Falls Sunday afternoon at Green Island Tennis Park. The Falcons drop to 0-6 overall and 0-2 in the conference.

The Eagles took the three doubles matches to start the dual with Kimberly Steinert/Kellie Hierl (No. 1), Tasha Bailey/Kaitlyn Kalinka (No. 2) and Morgan Graf/Hannah Riegle (No. 3) earning the wins. 

UWL swept the six singles matches in straight sets with wins from Steinert (No. 1), Bailey (No. 2), Hierl (No. 3), Riegle (No. 4), Graf (No. 5) and Susi Hu (No. 6).
