La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse soccer team improved to 3-1-1 on the season with a 4-0 home win over Illinois Wesleyan University Sunday afternoon at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex. The Titans drop to 1-4 on the year.
Natalie Schisel scored the game's first goal at 5:37 assisted from
Sophie Amundson. Katier Feller extended the lead to 2-0 at 12:45 off a free kick following a Titans' foul. UWL led, 2-0, at halftime.

The Eagles finished with six shots in the first half while the Titans totaled five.
UWL made it 3-0 at 51:19 on own goal after Illinois Wesleyan knocked in the ball off a Eagles' corner kick.
Courtney Slowinski's goal at 88:33 gave the Eagles a 4-0 lead.
Camryn Hart recorded the assist.
Quinn Shannon earned the shutout win for UWL, finishing with nine saves. Sarah Johnson suffered the loss for Illinois Wesleyan, totaling two saves.
UWL finished with 10 shots, including six on goal. The Eagles totaled seven corner kicks.
Rachael Janes had two shots, including one on goal.
Illinois Wesleyan had 13 shots with nine on goal. The Titans had three corner kicks.
UWL returns to action Saturday, September 18 hosting Carthage College (Wis.) at 2 p.m.
