Menomonie, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's swimming & diving team dropped a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) dual to UW-Eau Claire Saturday, 169-89, at Menomonie High School.
The Eagles won three individual and one relay title in Saturday's dual.
Emily Boettger captured the 100 freestyle (55.59),
Emma Coltman the 100 breaststroke (1:13.36) and
Samantha Rod the 200 breaststroke (2:37.12).
Amanda Wciorka, Coltman,
Brooke Presny and Boettger won the 200 medley relay (1:54.83).
Boettger was also second individually in the 50 freestyle (25.53) while Coltman placed third in the 200 breaststroke (2:42.72).
Presny recorded a pair of second-place finishes Saturday, including the 100 (1:03.77) and 200 (2:26.00) butterfly.
Claire Vandenhouten was third in the 200 (2:05.79) and 500 (5:32.04) freestyle.
Other top-three finishers included
Lindsey Evenson in the 50 freestyle (26.01),
Ellen Bie in the 1,000 freestyle (11:58.25),
Kylee Sommer in the 100 backstroke (1:05.02) and
Isabelle Buhler in the 100 breaststroke (1:15.24).
The Eagles' 200 freestyle relay of Presny, Evenson, Wciorka and Boettger placed second (1:43.55).
