La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's tennis team opened its 2019-20 home schedule with a 9-0 win over UW-Oshkosh Saturday afternoon at La Crosse Central High School. The Eagles improved to 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) while the Titans drop to 2-2 overall and 0-2 in the conference.
UWL swept the six singles matches in straight sets, losing only nine games.
