Chicago, Ill. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse volleyball team earned a 3-2 (22-25, 22-25, 25-16, 25-16,15-10) victory at North Park University (Ill.) Saturday afternoon. The Eagles improve to 15-13 while the Vikings fall to 10-17.
Liz Lansink led UWL with 22 kills while adding five blocks. Lansink hit .556 (22-2-36) overall. Emma Lawrence finished with nine kills, two blocks and 15 digs. Laine Hoeffel added seven kills for the Eagles while Anna Rossner finished with five. The Eagles hit .222 (63-24-176) overall.
Abbey Fox recorded 35 assists while adding 12 digs. Sophie Quelle recorded two aces, four assists and a team-high 18 digs. UWL totaled 7.0 blocks.
Niki Ahlstrand, Kailyn Matthews and Reagan Clement each had nine kills for North Park (Ill.). Kajsa Meyer had a team-high three aces and also lead the team with 32 assists. The Vikings hit .127 (49-28-166).
Bianca Tomuta had a team-leading 26 digs and Christina Gatta added 15. North Park (Ill.) finished with 5.0 blocks.
UWL returns to action Saturday, November 2 hosting UW-Stout at noon in the regular-season finale.
