Box Score La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to eight with a 4-0 victory over UW-Stout Wednesday night at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex. The Eagles, now 7-0-1 in their last eight games, improve to 11-4-2 overall and 4-0-1 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC). The Blue Devils drop to 4-11 overall and 1-4 in the conference.
Sophie Amundson had a goal and assist.
UWL recorded its seventh consecutive shutout with Wednesday's victory. The Eagles have not allowed a goal in the last 676 minutes.
The Eagles, winners of six straight meetings with the Blue Devils, took a 1-0 lead at 2:17 as
Hayley Hargroder scored with an assist from
Lauren Yass. Hargroder made it 2-0 at 7:50 with
Kaitlyn Villars recording the assist. Hargroder now has three goals on the season.
Sophie Amundson gave UWL a 3-0 lead at 23:43 as Villars earned her second assist of the game. It was Amundson's ninth goal of the season, tying Villars for the team lead.
Camryn Hart made it 4-0 at 29:22 with Amundson getting the assist. Hart has two goals on the year.
UWL finished with 31 shots in the game, including 14 on goal. Villars (three on goal) and Hart (one) led the Eagles with five shots each. Hargroder, Yass, Amundson,

Lily Brock combined for the shutout victory for UWL with each recording one save. Shannon earned the win, improving to 9-3-2 on the season. Claudia Anderson took the loss for UW-Stout, finishing with 10 saves.
