Cedar Rapids, Iowa - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse volleyball team extended its winning streak to three with a pair of victories Saturday at Coe College (Iowa).  The Eagles improved to 13-11 on the season with a 3-1 (25-18, 25-18, 16-25, 25-23) win over Millikin University (Ill.) and a 3-1 (25-22, 25-15, 11-25, 25-11) victory over Illinois Wesleyan University. 

In the win over Millikin (Ill.), Emma Lawrence led UWL with 16 kills.  Abbey Fox recorded seven kills and Caitlin Griffin six.  Fox had 29 assists as the Eagles hit .211 (43-17-123). 

Sophie Quelle led UWL with 16 digs while Fox recorded 12. 

Tori Stuart and Marissa McElroy led Millikin (Ill.) with 13 kills each while Lauren Brummel finished with 12.  Rose Syvesen recorded 36 assists as the Big Blue hit .140 (48-27-150). Julianna Vassallo led Millikin (Ill.) with 14 digs with Syversen finished with 11 and Kelsey McAtee with 10.   

It was the second meeting between the teams in the last week. Millikin (Ill.) earned a 3-0 (25-16, 25-18, 25-23) victory October 12 at the UW-Whitewater Classic.

Lawrence again led UWL with 16 kills in the victory over Illinois Wesleyan.  Liz Lansink finished with nine.  Fox had 34 assists as the team hit .167 (41-20-126). 

Fox and Quelle led the Eagles with 12 digs while Courtney Conway finished with 10.  Fox was one of four players named to the all-tournament team.

Jessica McCall led Illinois Wesleyan with 11 kills. Dana Kiszkowski finished with nine.  Madi Corey had 24 assists as the Titans hit .115 (44-28-139). 

Amber Juarez led the team with 12 digs. 

It was UWL's second victory over Illinois Wesleyan this season. The Eagles earned a 3-1 (25-11, 15-25, 25-17, 25-18) win over the Titans October 11 at the UW-Whitewater Classic.

UWL returns to action Wednesday, October 23 hosting UW-Stevens Point at 7 p.m.
