Cedar Rapids, Iowa - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's tennis team extended its winning streak to five with a pair of victories Sunday afternoon. The Eagles earned a 6-3 win over host Coe College (Iowa) before picking up a 7-2 victory over Grinnell College (Iowa). UWL improves to 17-3 on the season.
UWL won two of the three doubles matches and four of the six singles matches against Coe (Iowa). The Eagles swept the three doubles matches and captured four of the six singles matches in their win over Grinnell (Iowa).

UWL returns to action Saturday, April 28 at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Automatic Qualifying Tournament for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championships. The Eagles face UW-Eau Claire at noon a semifinal match in Whitewater, Wisconsin. UW-Whitewater and UW-Oshkosh play in the other semifinal. The championship and third-place matches start at 3 p.m. with the winner of the tournament earning the league's automatic bid to the NCAA III Championships.
