Stevens Point, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's and men's swimming & diving teams split a dual at UW-Stevens Point Saturday afternoon. The women's squad earned a 159.5 to 81.5 victory while the men fell, 162.0 to 79.0.
UWL won 12 events in Saturday's dual. On the women's side,
Kayley Alioto swept the one (259.05 points) and three (293.40) meter diving competition.
Samantha Seymour won the 50 freestyle (26.25),
Victoria Campbell the 200 freestyle (2:02.31) and
Kira Pauls the 1,000 freestyle (11:50.92).
The Eagles'
Lilly Larsen captured the 200 backstroke (2:15.92) and
Maria Vaudreuil the 200 breaststroke (2:34.61).
UWL swept both relays with
Maddie Volk, Vaudreuil, Seymour and Campbell the 400 medley relay (4:09.22). Volk,
Courtney Boak,
Jaime Kloehn and Campbell won the 400 freestyle relay (3:46.02).
In the men's dual,
Charles Hartt won the 200 (1:44.85) and 500 (4:50.64) freestyle for UWL.
Adam Baryenbruch captured the 200 breaststroke (2:15.38).
The Eagles were second in both relays.

Hans Hover and
Ryan Jessen won the 400 medley relay (3:34.17) while Jessen, Hartt, Carlson and
Jacob Burchfield won the 400 freestyle relay (3:10.20).
