Box Score Bloomington, Ill. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse soccer team fell 1-0 at Illinois Wesleyan University Saturday afternoon. The Eagles drop to 5-1-2 on the season while the Titans improve to 6-2. Both teams are receiving votes on this week's United Soccer Coaches Top-25 Poll.
UWL is ranked fourth in the United Soccer Coaches North Region while Illinois Wesleyan is third in the Central Region.
The teams combined for eight shots in the first half with Illinois Wesleyan recording six.
Illinois Wesleyan scored the only goal of the game at 47:36 with Cameron Hindel notching her seventh goal of the season. Megan O'Neal and Flower Edington recorded the assists.
Kelli McCarthy earned the shutout win for Illinois Wesleyan, finishing with three saves.
Lily Brock had three saves for UWL.
The Eagles totaled six shots, including three on goal.
Katie Feller had two shots with one on goal.
