UW-Whitewater 151, UW-La Crosse 149
Whitewater, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's swimming & diving team fell 151-149 in dual action at UW-Whitewater Saturday afternoon in the Williams Center Pool. The Eagles finish 4-2 in duals this season, including 3-1 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC).
Kayley Alioto and
Emma Holbrook each won a pair of individual titles as Alioto swept the one (238.05 points) and three (277.00) meter diving competition and Holbrook captured the 100 (1:00.44) and 200 (2:08.34) yard backstroke.
UWL's Katelyn De Starkey won the 50-yard freestyle (24.80) and placed second in the 100-yard butterfly (59.58) while
Maddie Volk captured the 100-yard freestyle (54.67).
Maria Vaudreuil was second in the 100 (1:09.55) and 200 (2:31.13) yard breaststroke while
Jaime Kloehn was second in the 100-yard freestyle (55.77) and
Anna Landgraf was second in the 200-yard freestyle (1:59.58).
Caroline Holverson placed second in the one (225.29 points) and three (274.95) meter diving.
Victoria Campbell, De Starkey, Volk and Landgraf won the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:39.08) while Holbrook, Vaudreuil,
Samantha Seymour and Campbell were second in the 200-yard medley relay (1:52.79).
