La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's tennis team earned a pair of shutout victories Saturday at Veterans Memorial Courts.  The Eagles defeated NCAA Division II Winona State University (Minn.) 9-0 in the first match of the triangular before earning a 9-0 victory over UW-River Falls in a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) contest.  UWL improves to 3-1 overall and 1-1 in the WIAC.

Winona State (Minn.) defeated UW-River Falls, 6-3, in the third triangular of the day.   Winona State (Minn.) moves to 1-1 on the season while UW-River Falls drops to 0-4 overall and 0-2 in the WIAC.
