UW-La Crosse Places Second at WIAC Team Tournament

UW-L placed second at the WIAC Team Tournament Saturday night.

Janesville, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's tennis team fell 7-2 to UW-Whitewater in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Team Tournament Championship match Saturday night at the Premier Tennis and Fitness Center. The Eagles advanced to the title match after earning a 5-3 victory over UW-Eau Claire in the semifinals. UW-L, ranked 19th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Central Region, is now 19-5 on the season.

UW-Whitewater is ranked seventh in the ITA Central Region and 28th in the national poll while UW-Eau Claire is 20th in the ITA Central Region.
