Fridley, Minn. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's tennis team earned a 7-2 victory at Northwestern University (Minn.) Saturday afternoon at Lifetime Fitness. The Eagles improve to 18-4 on the season as they earned their 13th win in last 15 matches. UW-L has also won eight of its last nine matches.

UW-L returns to action Saturday, April 25 with the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Automatic Qualifying Tournament for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Tournament. The Eagles face UW-Eau Claire at noon in Whitewater, Wisconsin. UW-Whitewater hosts UW-Oshkosh at noon. The winners of those matches will face each other in the tournament championship match at 3 p.m. while the losers will play for third-place also at 3 p.m.
