Box Score River Falls, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse soccer team fell 1-0 in overtime at UW-River Falls Tuesday night at Ramer Field in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Tournament First Round. The Eagles, the tournament's fifth-seed, finish 5-8-5 overall this season. The Falcons, the fourth-seed, improve to 12-5-3 overall. UW-River Falls will play at top-seeded UW-Whitewater Thursday, November 6 in the league's tournament semifinals.
Abby Soderholm scored the only goal of the match at 99:45 Tuesday night assisted by Alex Swatloski. It is Soderholm's 10th goal of the season.
UW-L finished with four shots, including three on goal.

Tina Bedwell and
Kelly Denk each had one shot on goal.
UW-River Falls totaled 32 shots in the match, including 10 on goal. Swatloski led the Falcons with three shots on goal while Soderholm, Tessa Quintavalle and Kayla Windingstad each had two shots on goal.

UW-L's five overall ties equals a single-season school record from 2012 (5-8-5). The three league ties set a school record, breaking the mark of two set set four in four different seasons (2005, 2006, 2010, 2011).
