Box Score Stevens Point, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse soccer team recorded a 0-0 double overtime tie at UW-Stevens Point Wednesday afternoon at the Point Soccer Bowl. The Eagles are now 3-4-5 overall and 1-1-3 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) while the Pointers are 6-7-1 overall and 1-2-1 in the conference.
With Wednesday's tie, UW-L has equaled its school record for ties with five. The Eagles finished 5-8-5 in 2012. The three conference ties sets a school record, breaking the mark of two set in 2005, 2006, 2010 and 2011.
The Eagles finished with five shots in Wednesday's match, including three on goal.

Maddie Granos each recorded a shot on goal.
The Pointers totaled 21 shots, including 10 on goal. Sarah Meyer had three shots on goal and Shelley Samuel two.
UW-L's
Ashley Tracy recorded 10 saves in notching her fifth shutout of the year. She has registered a 0.91 goals against average. UW-Stevens Point's Morgan Voigt finished with three saves.
UW-L returns to action Saturday, September 18 hosting the University of St. Thomas (Minn.) at 5 p.m.
