Box Score Decorah, Iowa - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse soccer team fell 1-0 at Luther College (Iowa) Wednesday night.  The Eagles drop to 1-5 on the season while the Norse improve to 1-4.

Ellie Arend scored the only goal of the match at 74:37. It was her first goal of the season.

UW-L finished with nine shots, including five on goal. Laura Sauer had two shots on goal while Kali Schultz, Kelly Denk and Ali Roberts each finished with one.

Luther totaled 21 shots, including eight on goal.

The Eagles' Ashley Tracy recorded seven saves while the Norse' Cydney Haaland had five to earn the shutout win.

UW-L returns to action Saturday, September 21 in its Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) opener at UW-Eau Claire.  The start is scheduled for 2 p.m.
