Box Score Waverly, Iowa - The University of Wisconsin soccer team fell 2-1 in double overtime at Wartburg College (Iowa) Wednesday afternoon. The Eagles drop to 1-3 on the season while the Knights improve to 2-2-1.
The match was scoreless until UW-L's
Jamie Ochsenwald gave the Eagles a 1-0 lead at 76:10 with an unassisted goal. Wartburg tied the match at 1-1 at 81:16 on Lisa Trizzino's unassisted goal.
After a scoreless first overtime session, the Knights' Taylor Woods scored the winning goal at 112:44. It was also unassisted.
UW-L finished with 13 shots in the match, including 10 on goal. Ochsenwald recorded six shots with four on goal.
Wartburg totaled 23 shots, including 14 on goal.
The Eagles'
Ashley Tracy registered 12 saves while the Knights' Katie Reinhardt had nine.
UW-L returns to action Saturday, September 14 at Bethel University (Minn.) at 1 p.m.
