Soccer Team Falls at UW-Platteville

Box Score Platteville, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse soccer team fell 1-0 at UW-Platteville Wednesday night at Pioneer Stadium.  The Eagles drop to 2-8-1 overall and 1-3-1 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) while the Pioneers improve to 6-6 overall and 2-1 in the conference.

UW-Platteville scored the only goal of the match at 30:08 as Julie Divita scored her third goal of the season.  It was an unassisted goal off a free kick from 22-yards out.

UW-L finished with four shots in the match, including one on goal from Jenna Rosienski.  UW-Platteville recorded six shots with two on goal.

The Eagles' Ashley Tracy had one save while the Pioneers' Jade Jandt also recorded one. Jandt and Mandy Taylor combined on the shutout.

It marks the fifth time this season UW-L has lost by the score of 1-0.

UW-L returns to action Sunday, October 13 at Lawrence University (Wis.) at 2 p.m.
