La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's tennis team earned a 9-0 victory over UW-River Falls Saturday in Mitchell Hall Fieldhouse. The Eagles improve to 6-1 overall and 3-1 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) while the Falcons fall to 0-7 overall and 0-4 in the conference.
UW-L swept the three doubles matches.

Abby Tresedder defeated Kelsey Hochberger/Makayla Newberry at No. 1 (8-1);
Kimmy Mrozek/
Bryanne Blanton beat Hannah Klimek/Kelly Mendel at No. 2 (8-0) and
Rachael Wabers/
Samantha Fleming defeated Brittany Mohn/Kayla Rosenow (8-1).
In singles play, Hartwick defeated Hochberger at No. 1 (6-4, 6-2); Tresedder beat Newberry at No. 2 (6-1, 6-0) and Mrozek defeated Klimek at No. 3 (6-0, 6-2).
Blanton earned the victory over Mendel at No. 4 singles (6-3, 6-3) while
Jennifer Graham defeated Rosenow at No. 5 (6-0, 6-0) and Wabers beat Anna Ebensperger at No. 6 (6-1, 6-1).
UW-L returns to action Sunday, October 6 hosting Cardinal Stritch University (Wis.) at 11 a.m.
