Box Score Superior, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse soccer team earned a 3-0 victory at UW-Superior Saturday afternoon.  The Eagles improve to 5-9-1 overall and 2-4-1 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) while the Yellowjackets fall to 3-15-1 overall and 0-8 in the conference. UW-L improved to 21-0 all-time versus UW-Superior with the win.

Megan Gresl gave UW-L a 1-0 lead at 19:08 with an assist by Jamie Ochsenwald. It was Gresl's team-leading fourth goal of the year. The Eagles led 1-0 at halftime.

Laura Sauer made it 2-0 at 48:02 assisted by Ochsenwald and Kelly Denk finished the scoring with an unassisted goal at 68:31. Sauer earned her first goal of the year while Denk recorded her third.

UW-L finished with 29 shots in the match, including 15 on goal. UW-Superior totaled four shots with one on goal.

Ashley Tracy earned her third shutout of the season as she recorded one save.

Kalea Hatlewick had 12 saves for UW-Superior.

UW-L returns to action Wednesday, October 30 hosting Carthage College (Wis.) at 5 p.m.
