Box Score Appleton, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse soccer team earned a 1-0 victory at Lawrence University (Wis.) Sunday afternoon at Whiting Field West. The Eagles improve to 3-8-1 on the season while the Vikings fall to 3-7-1.
UW-L's
Jamie Ochsenwald scored the only goal of the match at 76:05 on a penalty kick. It is Ochsenwald's second goal of the season.
UW-L finished with 19 shots in the match, including nine on goal.
Kelly Denk recorded four shots with two on goal. Seven other players had one shot on goal.
Lawrence was held to four shots with three on goal.
The Eagles'
Ashley Tracy recorded the shutout victory with three saves. It is Tracy's second shutout of the season. The Vikings' Dani Glass had eight saves.
UW-L now leads the all-time series, 3-0, with Lawrence.
