Eau Claire, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's tennis squad earned a 5-4 victory at UW-Eau Claire Saturday afternoon. The Eagles improve to 8-2 overall and 5-1 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) while the Blugolds drop to 7-3 overall and 4-2 in the conference.
UW-L won two of the three doubles matches Saturday.

The teams split Saturday's six singles matches. UW-L's Tresedder defeated Johnson at No. 2 singles (6-2, 6-4) while Mrozek beat Frassetto at No. 3 (6-4, 7-6) and Graham defeated Kuepers at No. 6 (6-2, 6-2).
UW-Eau Claire's Gillman defeated Hartwick at No. 1 singles (6-1, 6-0), Colleen McCullough defeated Blanton at No. 4 (3-6, 6-4, 10-8) and Rossebo beat
Kendra Woyahn at No. 5 (6-4, 6-4).
UW-L returns to action Saturday, October 26 at the WIAC Championships in Madison.
