At the Drake Relays, Schroeder won the 110-meter hurdles with a school record time of 13.68. The time ranks second in NCAA Division III history. He also anchored the 4x100-meter relay, which finished second with a time of 39.88. At the University of Minnesota Gary Wilson Invitational, Schroeder finished third overall in the 200-meter dash with a time of 20.78. He was the top non-NCAA I finisher and the third fastest time in NCAA Division III this season.
