Schultz led UWL with an 10th-place overall finish at the Loyola University Chicago (Ill.) Lakefront Invitational September 29. He completed the 8,000-meter course in 24:26.87 in a meet featuring 250 runners. Schultz helped lead UWL to a sixth-place team finish out of 26 teams, including the top NCAA Division IIII team. The invitational featured several NCAA Division I programs as UWL finished within 25 points of third-place.
