Anderson averaged 18.7 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.7 assists in helping lead UWL to a 3-0 record. He had 20 points, six assists and three rebounds in a victory over 25th-ranked Saint John's University (Minn.) on November 8. Anderson had 15 points, nine rebounds and five assists in a win at 17th-ranked Marietta College (Ohio) on November 11. He finished the week with 21 points, six rebounds and three assists in a victory over Guilford College (N.C.) in the championship game of the Marietta (Ohio) Shrine Tournament. For his efforts, Anderson was named the MVP of the Marietta (Ohio) Tournament.
