Samantha Wiekamp earned a pair of All-America honors at the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) Championships March 23-24. She placed fifth in the all-around and tied for third on the vault. Wiekamp was selected the 2018 NCGA Senior Athlete of the Year at the conclusion of the championships. She is the fifth gymnast in school history to earn the NCGA Senior Athlete of the Year, including the first since Kari Motz in 2000. UWL's Katy O'Brien (1989), Kim MacKrille (1991) and Tammy Bakeberg (1994) also earned the honor.
