Williams captured the 184-pound title at the UW-Eau Claire Don Parker Open February 8 with a 4-0 record. He won by technical fall (15-0) over Jake Arends of Concordia-Moorhead (Minn.) in the first round and after receiving a second round bye, Williams won by technical fall (16-0) over Chase Melton of UW-Eau Claire in the quarterfinals. He won by decision (10-4) over Tyler Ryan of NCAA Division II St. Cloud State University (Minn.) in the semifinals and captured the title with a medical forfeit over Tanner Vassar of Augsburg University (Minn.).
