Ryan Jessen won the 50-yard freestyle (20.53) and was a member of both victorious relays in UWL's dual win over UW-Whitewater February 3. His time of 20.53 in the 50-yard freestyle tied the pool record of Joe Clapp of UW-Stevens Point in 2012. Jessen was on the Eagles' winning 200-yard medley relay (1:32.02) and 200-yard freestyle relay (1:23.15) as both set Pein Natatorium records. The 200-yard medley relay of Alec Carlson, Marley Kaiser, Hans Hover and Jessen broke the facility record of 1:34:43 set by UW-Stevens Point in 2005. The 200-yard freestyle relay of Jacob Burchfield, Carlson, Hover and Jessen set the pool record of 1:23.51 by UWL in 2017.
