Senior Connor Cook appeared in three games, including one start, in 2020 while compiling a 2.16 earned run average. He pitched in 33 career games for UWL with 26 starts. Cook went 11-9 in his career with a 4.28 ERA while recording 167 strikeouts in 164.1 innings.Â
Named to the 2019 All-WIAC Honorable Mention Team, Cook finished 6-1 with a 3.67 ERA last season. He was selected to the 2019 D3baseball.com All-Midwest Region Third Team after leading UWL in wins (6) and tying for the team lead in starts (9). Cook, holding opponents to a .236 batting average a year ago, pitched a no-hitter at top-ranked Concordia College Chicago (Ill.) on April 18, 2019. He went 7.0 innings, allowing one wak while striking out eight.Â
