Kelsey Foss is in her third season as an assistant gymnastics coach and recruiting coordinator at UW-La Crosse in 2025-26. She had worked as the donor relations coordinator for the UWL Alumni & Friends Foundation the previous five years. Foss had been working in non-profit fundraising, marketing and event planning roles since 2010.
Along with her coaching duties at UWL, Foss works as a special assistant to the Director of Athletics.
The 2025 season saw the Eagles claim the programs 18th National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) national championship along with three individual NCGA Titles. Grace Kehr became the seventh gymnast in UWL history to win a NCGA title on the vault while Jess Taylor became the fifth Eagle to ever win a national title on the floor exercise. Three Eagles would tie for the NCGA Championship on the balance beam as Raina Christenson, Claire Robbins and Kyla Dickson all scored a 9.850.
UWL placed third at the 2024 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC)/National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) West Regional Championships and third at the NCGA Championships in Foss' first year. The Eagles earned 12 All-WIAC honors in 2024 and six NCGA All-America accolades.
Foss was a member of the Eagles' gymnastics team from 2006-10, earning four letters. She was a four-time NCGA All-America, including twice in 2009 and 2010. Foss placed eighth in the all-around and 12th on the floor exercise in 2009 while finishing tied for second on the uneven parallel bars and fifth on the balance beam in 2010. She was named to the 2010 NCGA All-Academic Team and a three-time (2007-09) member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll.
She earned her bachelor's degree in communications: public relations and organizational communication from UWL in 2010. Foss helped coach in the Junior Eagle Developmental Gymnastics Program throughout college.
Named to the 2009 All-WIAC Sportsmanship Team, Foss earned all-league honors in 2009, finishing second in the all-around and balance beam and fifth on the uneven parallel bars. She also earned All-WIAC honors with a third-place finish on the balance beam in 2008 and second-place finish on the floor exercise in 2007.
Foss was a member of three (2008-10) NCGA Championship teams and three (2007-09) WIAC title squads.
A native of Hastings, Minnesota, Foss was a member of Perpetual Motion Gymnastics and TAGS South Gymnastics.
