Keara Chaperon is in her first year as UWL’s Coordinator of Brand Management and Social Media in 2024-25.
She comes to UWL after serving as the social media manager at Concordia University Wisconsin Ann Arbor since 2023. Chaperon monitored and analyzed social media performance metrics using tools such as Hootsuite. She also managed the university’s community interactions and created engaging content for various social media platforms, including photos, blogs, videos, and graphics.
Prior to working at Concordia Wisconsin Ann Arbor, Chaperon was the social media director for the Wichita (Kan.) Thunder Hockey Team and the social media content creator for the Chugiak/Eagle River Chinooks in Chugiak, Alaska. She enhanced the teams' social media platforms by growing their follower bases and increasing engagement.
A native of Chugiak, Alaska, Chaperon earned her bachelor’s degree in sports management and photojournalism from Central Michigan University in 2022. She was a sports photographer for the Chippewas for two years as an undergraduate student.
