Dr. Brea Stanton is in her second year as an athletic staff trainer at UW-La Crosse in 2025-26. She comes to UWL after after serving as a full-time athletic trainer for Gundersen - St. Joseph's Hospital and Clinics and Reedsburg Area Medical Center since 2023. Stanton was an athletic trainer for Saint Clare's Hospital. She was a full-time athletic trainer for Union Health from 2019-23.
Stanton earned her bachelor's degree in athletic training from UWL in 2019 and her doctorate in athletic training from Indiana State University in 2021.Â
She holds her Board of Certification and Wisconsin State Licensure.
