Andrew McGlenn begins his 13th season as an assistant coach at UW-La Crosse in 2025.  He serves as the Eagles' offensive line coach and recruiting coordinator while also teaching in the exercise and sport science department.

UWL offensive linemen Brendan Harder, Levi Liedke and Dain Walter were named to the 2024 All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Team with Liedke earning first team accolades and Harder and Walter to the second team. The Eagles finished 8-4 overall and 5-2 in the WIAC in 2024, earning an at-large bid to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Championships. It marked UWL's fourth straight appearance in the national championships. 

McGlenn was named the 2023 Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) Assistant Coach of the Year as UWL finished 11-2 overall and 7-0 in the WIAC. The Eagles earned their first outright league title since 2004 and advanced to the NCAA Division III Championships.

Three players earned All-WIAC honors in 2023, including Mike Bertoia who was named first team. Bertoia was an American Football Coaches Association (AFCA), D3football.com and Associated Press (AP) All-America First Team selection. The Eagles' Noah Coleman and Liedke were named to the 2023 All-WIAC Second Team.

McGlenn earned his bachelor's degree from UWL in 2005 and his master's degree from Chadron State College (Neb.) in 2009.  McGlenn was a four-year letter winner at UWL, playing right tackle.  He was named to the 2003 and 2004 All-WIAC First Team and was a member of three league championship teams with the Eagles (2002, 2003, 2004). McGlenn served as a team captain in 2004.

Prior to returning to UWL, McGlenn worked as a physical education teacher as well as assistant football coach at New Richmond (Wis.) High School for two years. McGlenn was an assistant football coach at the University of Dubuque (Iowa) in 2009 and 2010.  He coached the Spartans' offensive line and running backs while also serving as the football operations director. 

McGlenn was a graduate assistant football coach and teacher in the health, physical education and recreation department at Chadron State (Neb.) in 2007 and 2008.  He was the assistant offensive line and assistant football strength coach as well as coaching the inside receivers.  McGlenn was a member of head coach Bill O'Boyle's staff, the 2007 Liberty Mutual Division II Coach of the Year. 

A member of the WFCA, McGlenn was an assistant football coach and the junior varsity offensive coordinator at Hartland (Wis.) Arrowhead High School in 2006-07. McGlenn’s first coaching experience came while student teaching at La Crosse Central (Wis.) High School in 2005.
