UWL student-athletes represent a winning tradition and championship legacy. They work every day to Protect The Nest, and they do so by following these tenets:
- Expectation – have the self-belief and pride that they will succeed in sport, in school, and in life.
- Appreciation – going about their business with humility and showing gratitude
- Grit – persevering through adversity, no matter the challenge.
- Loyalty – always supporting each other and sticking up for their family.
- Execution – using their championship experience to deliver results, because no moment is too big.
These qualities spell out EAGLE, and were chosen by UWL student-athletes themselves. In their words, this is how they Protect The Nest.
