One Day UW-La Crosse Intercollegiate Athletics Website 

La Crosse, Wis. - University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Intercollegiate Athletics will participate in One Day for UWL Tuesday and Wednesday, October 20-21.  One Day for UWL is an opportunity to reflect on our UWL pride and gratitude for the impact the University has had on each of us. 

Join us for 24 hours (9 a.m. Tuesday through 9 a.m. Wednesday) as the UWL community comes together to make gifts to specific causes or areas on campus we are passionate about. UWL celebrates the impact that philanthropy has on our campus. 

One Day for UWL allows alumni, students, parents, friends, supporters and members of the faculty and staff to make charitable donations to UW-La Crosse Athletics which will go directly to support the Eagles' programs.  Donations can be made to the general intercollegiate athletics department, to a specific sport, endowment funds, support staff, facility funds or the Wall of Fame in this annual event.  Donations on One Day for UWL help the University's student-athletes and staff in a variety of ways, including additional travel opportunities, new athletic equipment and general support.  

A special incentive has been set. When UWL Athletics reaches 500 alumni donors, it will unlock $500 for every UWL Athletics program. 

Every gift matters and makes a difference to a student in need.  One Day for UWL is a chance to celebrate all things we love about UWL.

All gifts work together to make a difference!  UWL Intercollegiate Athletics thanks our supporters for their past generosity and encourage you to assist its Eagles' student-athletes and staff.

UWL offers 21 varsity programs with over 600 student-athletes.  UWL has won 83 national championships in school history, including 54 in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III.  The 54 national titles ranks second in NCAA III history.  The Eagles have captured 49 national titles since 2001.  UWL has won 463 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) titles in school history.

The success doesn't stop on the field as UWL has accumulated 107 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America® honors.

UWL has earned the WIAC All-Academic Award 24 of the last 25 years where the student-athlete grade point average is higher than the combined grade point average of the overall student body. The Eagles posted the highest combined grade point average among the eight WIAC institutions in 2025-26 at 3.401, marking the 20^th time in the last 27 seasons UWL has garnered the award.
