La Crosse, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's tennis team claimed the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) regular season title with a 7-0 victory over UW-Oshkosh Tuesday afternoon in Hetzel Fieldhouse.
The Eagles improve to 9-0 overall and 6-0 in the WIAC while the Titans drop to 5-4 overall and 1-4 in the conference.
It is UWL's 16th league title in school history and first since 2006. Head coach
Bill Hehli has led the Eagles to four (2003, 2005, 2006, 2025) WIAC regular season championships.
The Eagles finished undefeated in conference duals for third time (2005, 2006).

The conference champion is determined by regular season standings. The WIAC Tournament will be held in April 2026 with the winner earning the league's automatic bid to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Championships.
In Tuesday's dual, UWL earned the team point with a sweep of the doubles matches.
