Elkhorn, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's tennis team had its eight-match winning streak snapped with a 5-4 loss to Wheaton College (Ill.) Friday night at Four Lakes Athletic Club. The Eagles drop to 12-3 on the season while the Thunder improve to 15-5. 

UWL swept the three doubles matches with Kimberly Steinert/Kellie Hierl (No. 1), Hannah Riegle/Morgan Graf (No. 2) and Kaitlyn Kalinka/Katie Kearney (No. 3) earning wins. 

In singles play, Steinert earned the win at No. 1.
