Appleton, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's tennis team opened its 2019-20 season with a 9-0 victory at Lawrence University (Wis.) Friday afternoon. The Vikings were also playing their season-opener. 

The Eagles swept the six singles matches in straight sets, losing 10 games overall. 

UWL also won the three doubles matches in capturing a shutout victory over Lawrence (Wis.) for the sixth straight season.
