Madison, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's tennis team earned a 8-1 victory over Edgewood College (Wis.) Sunday afternoon at Quann Park. UWL improves to 19-3 on the season while Edgewood (Wis.) drops to 10-12.

UWL is two wins away from tying its single-season school record of 21 set in 2010-11 and 2011-12.  The Eagles finished 21-5 each year.

UWL is ranked 16th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Central Region. The Eagles' Bridget Bellissimo is ranked 14th in singles n the ITA Central Region.
