Meyer won the 197-pound title at the North Central College (Ill.) Invitational December 8 with a 4-0 record with three wins by fall. After receiving a first round bye, Meyer won his opening match by fall (4:39) over Chris Wilson of Wabash College (Ind.). He won by fall (2:47) over Ryan Snyder of MSOE (Wis.) in the quarterfinals and by fall (:58) over Hiram Robinson of Olivet College (Mich.) in the semifinals. Meyer won the title with a win by decision (6-1) over Jason Nako of North Central (Ill.).
