Ketterling was selected the WIAC Co-Swimmer of the Meet at the league championships after helping lead UWL to its first conference title since 1971. He won the 200 backstroke and 200 I.M. while placing second in the 100 backstroke. He was on the winning 200 and 400 freestyle relays and 400 medley relay and second-place 200 medley relay.
