Schoemann broke his own UWL record with a time of 1:49.51 to finish second overall in the 800-meter run at the DePaul University (Ill.) Alumni Classic. Schoemann was the only non-NCAA Division I athlete to finish in the top 25 in the 800-meter run. His time is the fastest this season in NCAA Division III.
