McCormick was the top performer in two events to help lead UWL to its best opening meet team score (192.100) in program history at the University of Nebraska Quadrangular on January 10. On the balance beam, McCormick scored a 9.850 to finish fourth overall and record the highest score by a NCAA Division III gymnast at the meet. The score of 9.850 tied the second highest individual score in school history. She led the Eagles with a 9.600 on the uneven bars to finish 13th overall.
