Welsch helped lead UWL to a 1-1 week with a win over Lawrence University (Wis.) and loss to #19-ranked Bethel University (Minn.). In the 63-57 loss to Bethel (Minn.) on December 19, Welsch led the Eagles with 14 points on seven-of-12 shooting from the floor. She also recorded three assists and a steal. In UWL's 46-39 victory over Lawrence (Wis.) on December 20, Welsch finished with a team-high 10 points while grabbing seven rebounds and recording two assists and two steals.
