Flege went 4-0 to capture the 184-pound division at the Luther College (Iowa) Open on November 15. After a first-round bye, he won by fall (2:01) over Cal Ries of UW-Platteville in the second round and by major decision (10-0) over Zak McPhee of UW-Eau Claire in the quarterfinals. Flege won by decision (1-0) over Dominic Mann of St. Cloud State University (Minn.) in the semifinals and won the title with a decision (2-1) over Brandt Bombard of Augsburg University (Minn.). Bombard is currently ranked first in the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) and was a finalist at the 2025 NCAA Division III Championship.
