VandenHeuvel went 2-for-3 with two runs, one home run and four RBI versus Luther College (Iowa). He was 4-for-5 with three doubles, one walk and two runs in the second game of a doubleheader at UW-Stout. In the first two games versus UW-Oshkosh, he was 6-for-9 with four RBI and one home run. VandenHeuvel was 2-for-3 with one home run, two walks, four runs and four RBI in a come-from-behind 17-15 victory in the series finale. His three-run home run cut the lead to 15-14 as UWL scored seven runs in the bottom of the ninth.Â
