Seaman hit .571 (12-of-21) in five starts last week with a .640 on-base and .667 slugging percentage. He scored eight runs with four RBI, four walks and two doubles. Seaman had a hit in all five games with four multiple-hit contests. He also scored at least two runs in three games. Seaman went 2-for-4 versus William Paterson (N.J.) on March 18 and 2-for-4 against 13th-ranked Johns Hopkins University (M.D.) on March 19. He went 8-for-13 with seven runs, four RBI, three walks and one double in a three-game series sweep at Washington University in St. Louis (Mo.) on March 23-24.
