Mia Schmidtke went 3-for-8 with five RBI, four runs, two home runs and one double in UWL's doubleheader sweep at Augustana College (Ill.) April 5. She went 1-for-3 with a double and run scored in a 5-2 win in the opener. Schmidtke finished 2-for-5 with five RBI, three runs and two home runs in a 10-2 victory in the nightcap. Her three-run home run in the fifth inning gave UWL a 4-2 lead.

Schmidtke tied the single-game school record with her two home runs and became the first player to accomplish the feat since Emilie Wiltzius versus the University of Dubuque (Iowa) on March 6, 2015. Her five RBI is tied for sixth in single-game school history. Schmidtke recorded a .444 on-base and 1.250 slugging percentage in the doubleheader.
