Kelly had three tackles, including 1.5 for loss and 1.0 quarterback sack in UWL's 31-28 win at seventh-ranked UW-River Falls on November 4. He also had a forced fumble and blocked the potential game-tying 27-yard field goal on the final play of the game.  The victory clinched at least a share of the WIAC title for UWL and secured the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championships.
